How to make your own Halloween lift-the-flap page
(directions in verse, inspired by my book)
You’re going to make a fun surprise!
Grab stickers, colors, googly eyes.
First decide who you will feature--
a silly or a spooky creature?
When you know who’ll live in here,
add clues outside to make it clear.
Once the house and door are done,
then it’s time for inside fun.
Lift your flap (that’s what it’s for).
Draw your creature in the door.
Is your creature fun to meet?
Hooray! Then:
Knock knock, trick-or-treat!
